Health Benefits Of:
1. Black Pepper
Black pepper makes the tea even tastier, and helps make the nutrients present in all of the ingredients more readily accessible for use in your body’s various systems.
Ginger is a spice which offers many medicinal benefits from its gingerols content, which is the oily resin from the ginger root that offers powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Israeli researchers have reported that ginger offers dramatic effects for heart health, that includes preventing the oxidation of LDL, or “bad” cholesterol, reducing cholesterol levels, and preventing atherosclerosis.
Ginger also benefits your brain thru increasing levels of essential neurotransmitters, which are the chemicals being use by the brain cells for communication with each other.
Brain cells control the ability to focus, remember, concentrate, sleep, and more. Studies have shown approximately 86% of American adults have suboptimal levels of neurotransmitters, therefore, eating more ginger by drinking this tea may be a good way to boost yours.
Honey adds a wonderful sweet taste to the tea, but aside from that it offers various health benefits, including improving brain health, in particularly for women, who tend to suffer from hormone-related intellectual decline during post-menopause.
This is due to honey’s high level of antioxidants, which helps in preventing brain cell loss and cellular damage. Research done by the University of Babylon, College of Medicine in Iraq reported that honey’s therapeutic compounds and powerful antioxidant were able to prevent cognitive dementia and decline, and also enhance the circulation of the brain and cholinergic system.
Heart disease is the world’s number 1 killer. Studies have reported that there are multiple factors that contribute to this disease.
There are also many foods, including turmeric, which can help reverse its progress before it is too late.
Curcumin is a powerful compound that is present in turmeric, that helps in improving the function of the endothelium, which is the lining of the blood vessels.
An endothelial dysfunction is a significant factor in heart disease, as it is more difficult for the endothelium to regulate blood pressure, blood clotting, and other essential processes.
Turmeric is beneficial for brain health as well. Research that was conducted in 2014 reported that a compound known as aromatic-turmerone can increase neural stem cell growth in the brain by about 80% when taken in specific concentrations.
The researchers concluded that this compound can help the individuals who suffer from diseases such as Alzheimer’s, and stroke victims to recover brain function.
