    If you have diabetes, you shouldn’t consume honey. Honey will cause a blood sugar spike, which in turn will result in an insulin spike. While insulin is in your blood stream, it sends messages to your body to store the excess sugar in your bloodstream as body fat. This is counterintuitive for weight loss, whether you’re diabetic or not. If you’re going to drink this, skip the honey. This is my non-professional opinion, of course. I don’t believe this alone will help you lose weight unless you’re replacing sweetened beverages with this drink, which would mean that you’re consuming less sugar in general (this is a good change to make!)       Fran the best why to do it is 250 ml is one cup 125 is half a cup so all together 375 ml of water. Or 12 oz of water = 1 1/2 cups ( 8 oz is 1 cup +4 oz =1 1/2 cups) I always follow these rules ,, hope it helps

    I started this drink 4 days ago , now I soak the chia seeds for an hour, in 1cup water I didn’t have a fresh lemon so I used lemon juice I used about 2 table spoons . Once the seeds are ready to use I but everything together with the rest of the water and blend ,, if you don’t have fresh lemons is the good brand of lemon juice ok …l
