    Why not just cook on stove for a few minutes to soften the prunes then allow to cool, blend to a pulp & add to the airtight container & place in the refridgerator. Makes sence to me to prepare it in this way

    My grandma usually boiled prunes in a little water, then served them on biscuits or toast as one would jam. I just put them in a jar and pour hot water over them and store in refrigerator for a few days. And speaking of prunes, two prunes a day will help with constipation issues. I found this tip in the “French Women Don’t Get Fat” cookbook or book — can’t remember which, but it works and gently; no sitting on the toilet all day.
