Eggplant Juice Weight Loss  Recipe

Bear in mind that eggplants cannot be eaten raw as they contain an alkaloid called solanine which is toxic to the body. If you eat it raw you might experience stomachaches and headaches. Therefore you must cook it first.

Ingredients

  • One large eggplant
  • Half a liter of water
  • One lemon juice

Directions

Peel the eggplant and cut it into small pieces. Place them in a bowl with half a liter of cold water and let them soak for a few hours.

Once they have soaked cook the mixture as you bring the water to a boil. Let it boil for at least 15 minutes. Add the lemon juice, lower the heat  and let it set for 10 minutes.

Then, put the content  in a blender and blend until you get a well blended and uniform juice. Drink this 15 minutes before every primary meal. You can add more lemon if you want as the taste can be a bit bitter.

If you drink this juice every day, you will also lower your cholesterol.
