Natural Home Remedies For Bringing Down Fever

  If you suffer from low temperature and you are feeling exhausted and tired, you don’t have to use antibiotics right away.

If your fever is 38.3°C (101°F) or below, don’t be afraid to let it run its course. If  you want to take action, try these tips to reduce the temperature with these natural home remedies for fevers.

1.Take A Shower With Lukewarm Water

This temperature of the water will feel plenty cool when you have a fever, and the bath should help bring your body temperature down.

Don’t try to bring a fever down by taking a bath with cold water, that tactic sends blood rushing to internal organs, which can be a shock for your body. Your interior actually warms up instead of cooling down.

When you’re not bathing, place cold, damp washcloths on your forehead and the back of your neck.

2. Drink Tea

Drink a cup of yarrow tea. This herb opens your pores and triggers the sweating that is said to move a fever toward its end. Steep a tablespoon of herb in a cup of freshly boiled water for 10 minutes. Let cool. Drink a cup or two until you start to sweat.

Elder flower, also helps you sweat and helps with flu,cold and overproduction of mucus. You should mix two teaspoons of the herb in a cup of boiled water and let it steep for 15 minutes,for making this tea. Drink this drink three times a day to stop the fever.

You can also try drinking hot ginger tea, because it will make you sweat and reduce temperature.

3. Drink Fluids

When you have a fever,you should drink a lot of fluids  for avoiding  dehydration.

Drink 8 to 12 glasses of water a day or enough to make your urine pale.

Orange juice and other fruit juices rich in vitamin C are good choices, since the vitamin C assists your immune system in fighting off infection.

You can eat soup with one full teaspoon of vinegar. Vinegar is good for reducing temperature.

You can also eat cold grapes because they provide hydration.
