1. Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide is good for cleaning scrapes and cuts. However, it is little known that it can also remove stains and contribute to the fresh look of your white clothes.All you need to do is to put ½ cup of hydrogen peroxide in your washing machine before you start with the cycle.

2. Lemon Juice

Soak your clothes in hot water in which you have added ½ cup of lemon juice. Leave them soaked at least for one hour and If possible overnight, after they have soaked wash them in your usual way.

3. Baking Soda

Mix 1 cup of baking soda with 4 cups of water. Soak your white clothes in this mixture and leave them for a few hours. After they are done soaking, wash them with the usual wash cycle for white clothes.

4. White Vinegar

If you want your clothes to be white and soft, simply put ½ cup of distilled white vinegar in the rinse cycle. You will be amazed by the results.

5. Dish-washing Tablets

Dish-washing tablets are excellent if you want to get rid of stains, especially on white clothes. So, if you have a stain on your perfectly white shirt do not worry, all you need to do is to put a dish-washing tablet in your washing machine. Dish-washing tablets have oxidizing agents that remove stains from dishes, this feature helps removing stains from white clothes too.

6. DIY Whitening Solution

To make your own whitening solution all you need is: ½ cup of borax, hot water, 1 cup of bleach, 1 cup of laundry soap, and 1 cup of powdered dish soap. Mix all of these ingredients, put your white clothes in this solution and let them soak. Leave them for a few hours or if possible leave them overnight. Then wash them like you usually do.

7. Leave Your Clothes in the Sun

Your hair becomes blonder when you spend hours outdoors in the sun during the summer, and it is the same with your clothes. Put your whites outside in the sun and they will become even whiter naturally.

8. Separate Clothes by Color

Make sure to separate your white clothes from the colored ones. Don’t wash them together with other clothes, even if the clothes are with light color. Color can be transferred easily to your whites thus leaving them with a dirty gray look.
