Apple Cider vinegar
ACP has an alkalizing effect that can reduce toxins and get rid off mineral build ups in joints. Add two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in two cups of filtered water and sip this mixture throughout the day until the pain disappears. Another way of using ACV is by adding two cups of it in your bath and soak the knee for 30 minutes.
Ginger has anti inflammatory properties that can reduce swelling and the pain that comes along with it. Prepare some ginger tea and sip it throughout the day to alleviate the discomfort that you are feeling.
If you experience a knee pain caused by arthritis then you should get some lemons to reduce it. Lemons contain citric acid that can dissolve uric acid crystals that form in the joints. Slice one or two lemons into small pieces, put them in a cloth and tie them up. Dip the cloth in warm sesame oil and place it on top of the affected knee for five to ten minutes.
Do this twice a day to reduce swelling and pain.
Epsom salt is rich in magnesium sulfate which is a known muscle relaxant that can remove any excess fluid build up in the tissues. When the fluid is removed, the inflammation and pain subside. Add half a cup of Epsom salt in your hot bath and soak the affected knee for about 15 minutes. Repeat this process a few times a week until the pain and swelling disappear.
Because of the curcumin found in turmeric, this remedy can alleviate knee pain. Curcumin is a well known anti inflammatory agent that helps reduce swelling and pain. Make some turmeric tea and sip it throughout the day. You can also mix some turmeric and olive oil and apply the mixture on the affected knee.
