First, you need to section your hair and sprinkle one or two teaspoons of sea salt onto your scalp. Then, wet your fingers with water and massage your scalp for about ten minutes. First of all, take a closer look at the grade of sea salt that you plan to use. Don’t use sea salt with sharp or rough edges because you can cause redness or you can damage your skin. Rub it gently with circular motions.

Another way to use sea salt, is as a natural detoxifier. Mix some sea salt with water to make a paste, apply it on your skin and leave it on for 1 minute. Massage as you wash it off. The sea salt will absorb the toxins from your skin, leaving it clean and fresh.
